Where the streaming giant's gaming ambitions are… a year later.
Netflix announced & released games last year in November as a part of their service offering.
Free games with no ads or in-app transactions. They launched with five titles - Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast, and Teeter Up.
The list has since grown to 36 now & they have 55 more games in development. Some of these games are really good and make it compelling to keep my Netflix subscription even if their TV offerings got less interesting, cause the only way to play some of these games is if you have a Netflix subscription.
Netflix is also said to be seriously exploring a cloud gaming service which does make sense, Netflix being a streaming service. This means with a controller you can play games on your TV and PC. This would also mean we’ll get to play not only mobile games but PC & console-quality games too.
Back in September, Netflix established its own games studio in Helsinki, Finland. Since then it has been acquiring gaming studios and has bought up six studios so far. This is some good news at the heels of Stadia taking a bow. Let’s see how this one fares.
For now, here are the best Netflix (non-mobile) games you can & should play on your mobile devices
5. Before Your Eyes
This is quite an adventure game where you are following the memories of a person on his way to the afterlife. A unique thing about this game, you control it with your eyes and blinking.

3. Into the Breach
This was one of the best games of the year when it launched back in 2018. With its unique graphics & gameplay, Into the Breach is a turn-based strategy game you can sink hours into.

2. Into the Dead 2: Unleashed
This a fun action game where you run in a zombie-infested wasteland, picking up weapons & ammo, dogging, and shooting zombies as you pass them. What makes this game better than the first one and so much fun is the story element.
You are driving home to your wife & kid as the zombie outbreak happens & your car crashes. From there on, you are running & shooting up zombies to get to your wife & kid.

1. Spiritfarer
A cozy indie adventure game with beautiful visuals and music where you manage a ship full of spirits and help them cross over to the afterlife. It’s a feel-good game that I can spend hours playing.
