Hey, I'm Vinit.
I'm a writer, marketer, and dad based in India. I've been running this site since November 2022 — it started because I wanted a place I own for the things I think about. X, Threads, and Reddit are great for conversations, but I wanted my writing on my own ground.
I write about the entertainment I consume: the shows I watch, the games I play, the books I read, the movies I can't stop thinking about. I also write about the tools I use, the marketing I've spent 16+ years doing, and occasionally the chaos of being a new parent.
What I Write About
Books & Reading — Fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, literary fiction, and the occasional romantasy. Books I've read, books I want to read, authors I'm interested in, genre lists, and recommendations. The kind of reading coverage I'd actually want to find.
Movies & TV — Reviews, cast guides, streaming roundups, and deep dives into whatever I'm watching. I track everything I watch — from Malayalam cinema to anime to whatever Netflix dropped this week.
Gaming — Reviews, walkthroughs, strategies, and the kind of specific boss guide that comes from actually dying to the boss twelve times first. I primarily play on Switch and mobile, with PC and PS5 as second screens.
AI & Productivity — I run my entire life out of Notion and use AI tools daily. Comparisons, workflows, and honest takes on what actually saves time versus what just feels productive.
Marketing — 16+ years of growth marketing distilled into frameworks, case studies, and the occasional rant about why most email campaigns are terrible.
Personal Finance — Real numbers, real strategies, and the months where the math doesn't work. If you're a freelancer figuring out money in India, you'll find something useful here.
The Personal Stuff
I live in India with my wife Achu and our son Adi, who is almost two and is teaching me more about patience than anything else in my life has. I track my sleep, HRV, and protein intake with a level of detail that concerns my family. I'm a One Piece fan. I think cozy fantasy is a legitimate genre. I believe the best productivity system is the one you actually use.
