The first game I decided to try after subscribing to Apple Arcade was Love You to Bits, and in just about six hours I found myself completely absorbed in this quirky, heartfelt adventure. You step into the shoes of Kosmo, a clumsy yet determined space explorer, who travels across planets in search of scattered pieces of his robot girlfriend, Nova. Every new world brings a main component to recover and, tucked away across levels, optional collectibles that unlock short, beautifully animated flashbacks. These memories don’t just add flavour but gently unravel Kosmo and Nova’s love story in the sweetest, most touching way.

When it comes to gameplay, the structure of the game is simple yet effective. Each planet feels like a self-contained vignette, with its own cast of oddball characters and playful puzzles. The point-and-click mechanics are easy to grasp and never overwhelming. In fact, part of the charm lies in how accessible it all feels; the game doesn’t demand complex problem-solving, but instead nudges you along with whimsical interactions and clever little details that make each level fun to explore. While some might find the puzzles too easy, I found their simplicity refreshing. It allowed me to focus more on soaking in the atmosphere and uncovering every hidden memory.

What really stuck with me was the presentation. The art style bursts with personality, brimming with Pixar-like charm, reminiscent of the whimsical detail of WALL-E or the emotional warmth of Up, while every planet feels distinct and memorable.
